Our Story
Rovet Educational Advocacy Group was born in 2025 out of frustration, heartbreak, and resolve.
Like many families, we entered the education system believing it would support our neurodiverse child with the care, equity, and expertise every student deserves. Instead, we found ourselves fighting. Fighting to have needs recognized. Fighting to have plans followed. Fighting to stop the system from failing a child who simply needed to be understood and supported.

What started as a private struggle quickly became a turning point. With years of experience in education, psychotherapy, and neurodiversity-focused care between us, we realized that what we were experiencing wasn’t just personal—it was systemic. And we weren’t alone.
Mark, an experienced educator and school administrator, had seen the inner workings of both public and private schools. Tamara, a seasoned music therapist, music teacher, and psychotherapist, had spent decades working with children and families who had been dismissed, misunderstood, or underserved.
As parents and professionals, we had a unique vantage point—and we knew we could do something about it. That “something” became Rovet Educational Advocacy Group.
We aim to empower parents with the knowledge, strategy, and support they need to advocate for their children. We help families respond when schools don’t follow the Education Act, Safe Schools Act, and IEP accommodations. We coach parents through funding processes, disciplinary meetings, and Human Rights complaints. We offer tools not just to survive the system, but to challenge it, reshape it, and hold it accountable.
When the system fails, parents shouldn’t be left scrambling. They should be mobilized.
At Rovet Educational Advocacy Group, we believe that every child deserves to be seen, supported, and valued—and that every parent deserves the power to make that happen.
Outrage fuels us. Red flags guide us. Change follows us.
